34 Weeks!

It's getting close... and we're ready! The only thing left to do is pack our bag. I'm pretty sure it STILL hasn't hit me that he'll be here NEXT month! I love saying that too when people ask when I'm due. Next month! AHH!!

Not much new going on with Trip. He's moving around like a crazy baby in there. Every week when I get my NST's done the nurse always comments on how active he is. Especially at 8 in the morning, before I've even had breakfast. Hopefully this isn't a sign of his temperament when he's here. I'll take a nice, quiet and calm baby please!

The other night he was going crazy in there. I think it was because I had a sprite, and I rarely drink anything but water. Ricky started rubbing my belly and he jumped back and threw his hands in the air because Trip was pushing on me so hard! He said it felt like a baseball rose up in my belly.

I'm getting super sleepy and working is really getting harder every day. Trip has already decided to "drop" and he's in position! It's uncomfortable to walk and when I get up from sitting for awhile it really hurts. I try my hardest not to waddle, but it's not so easy anymore. I'm also having a ton of back pain. But I can't complain. I've had it extremely easy up until now. It had to get a little difficult at some point.

I'll be having another ultrasound to check his growth in 2 weeks and I think that's the only thing going on right now. Then we wait! I have this feeling that he won't make it to his due date, but who knows. The doctor said because I'm working up until my due date that it's less likely I'll go past. So here's hoping!

32 Weeks!

Not a lot has been going on the last couple of weeks. Everything is pretty calm, which is a good thing! We just had our third NST and his heart is still looking great. He is so active. Last week the nurse left the room and came back to ask what all the racket was because he was SO active! He's such a mover and a shaker. All three times he has had the hiccups which I think is so cute.

We signed up for a tour of Winnie Palmer, the hospital we will be delivering at. We are also taking a basic infant care class in September. Hopefully Ricky learns a thing or two! I obviously already know everything ;)

Yesterday was our Baby Shower!!! We had a great time and our moms did such a great job with everything. It was beautiful and we are feeling so blessed to have all these people in our lives that love and support us. We only need some small things still and I can't wait to go shopping and get them! I have been so good at not shopping too much. I went a little nuts after the shower. I washed all of his clothes, blankets, bath stuff and his bedding. His room is completely set up with everything we have. It looks so good I'm so happy with the theme we picked out.

My belly is now measuring 32cm at 32 weeks! That means I'm finally on the right schedule and not measuring ahead anymore. The doctor said last week that we'll still do another ultrasound at 37 weeks to check his weight. I'm just glad I'm not measuring so far ahead now.

3D/4D Ultrasound!!!! AMAZING!!

Thinking real hard
Yawning!

Kissy face

Size pic. He has Ricky's features for sure.
These are some of the pictures from the ultrasound today. I was so worried that I would be disappointed because I've heard stories about the pics not turning out well, or the baby not being in the right position. But our tech was AWESOME! She was so sweet and showed me where everything was, and what everything was. She spent so much time trying to get the perfect angle of his precious face. And she really did an awesome job! I think he's the most beautiful baby boy I've ever seen.

29 Weeks!

I can NOT believe I'm at 29 weeks. It still feels so far away but it's so close! I'm feeling really good about my belly lately... I was having a hard time at first but now that it's extremely obvious that I'm prego, and not chubby,  I'm feeling great. I miss chocolate though! I'm making vanilla brownies as we speak :)

This week I started weekly NST(non stress tests) at the doctor. We are doing this instead of the doppler because it has a more accurate reading of his heart. Doctor said I passed! All they are looking for is accelerations in his heart rate. I was supposed to click the button every time he moved and that is supposed to make his heart rate increase, which it did. I love it because I can hear him move around in there too. I feel him move constantly but it's different getting to hear it. Love it.

I feel so lucky with this pregnancy. I hope every pregnancy I have is like this! I LOVE being pregnant! Especially now that Trip is responding to my touch. When I wake up in the morning the first thing I do is place my hand where he's always moving and immediately I feel him. It's a great reassurance and helps me to wake up happy every day, no matter how tired I am.

Ricky felt him move the other day. It wasn't a kick it was an actual movement and he got so excited! It is such a different feeling than a kick. I woke up one day to him having the hiccups which I thought was adorable.

We are having a 3d ultrasound done on Monday and I'm so anxious for it! I can't believe I'm going to get to see his little face!! I'll post the best pictures on Monday so be on the lookout :)

Only 2 1/2 weeks left til the shower! I'm so excited to see everyone and celebrate Trip.

27 weeks down, 13 to go! Today is the first day of my last trimester. I can't believe I'm already 2/3 done with this pregnancy! As much as I love being pregnant, I really can't wait to see his little face.

A lot has happened this week. Sunday we got his furniture! It's so weird to wake up every day and see baby furniture in our room. Luckily, our room is big enough for all three of us(four if you include Dexter). I think it'll be easier for us to share in the beginning anyway. Now that it's all set up I'm anxious to get it all put together and looking like his room!

Monday we had an ultrasound with the fetal heart specialist. They were checking his heart for any abnormalities or skipping beats. They found NOTHING! He is PERFECT!! His heart rate was normal and looks like whatever they saw in the 18 week ultrasound was either a mistake or it went away. Or it was caused by the caffeine I drank that morning. I still have to be monitored weekly just to make sure his heart rate doesn't spike, but he's perfectly healthy. We got a few more pics as you can see. We got to see his face! It was so cool looking even though it looked like a skeleton.

I bought wooden letters to hang over his bed. I'm going to hand paint them to match his bedding...wish me luck! I'm not very crafty...

Yesterday I was poking around my belly and I felt an actual body part of his! He is positioned head down with his feet high near my ribs. So I think it was an elbow because it was on my mid left but I got so excited and practically yelled "OH MY GOSH!" Ricky didn't seem to think it was that cool, but to me it was like the first time I got to touch him haha. I feel him kick and move practically all day long. I know he's always up at 9am and during the night when I wake up to go pee he's always up with me. Night time before bed is when he's most active.

Trip is a big boy! He's measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule. Right now he weighs 2 pounds 12oz which is pretty big for 27 weeks. I hope he decides he's ready to come early on his own because I've said from the beginning that I do NOT want to be induced under any circumstances. But I also don't want a 9-10lb baby either. So maybe he'll slow down a bit on the growing or he'll come early. Either way, I just want him to be healthy when he gets here.

Hope everyone has a great week!

25 Weeks!

Tomorrow I will be 25 weeks! Only 15 left to go I can't believe it!!!  Hope everyone had a great 4th of July. Ricky and I went to Sarasota but the weather turned out to be nasty. We still went to the beach and managed to get completely sunburned! At least I kept my dress on and the sun didn't touch my belly.

Last weekend Trip was kicking so hard he was shaking my entire belly. Ricky finally "saw" him kick and got so excited. It was probably the most excited I've seen him besides when we found out he was a boy. Looks like an alien poking at one spot of your belly. He reacts when I put a light up by moving a lot. Very cool.

Dr. appointment last week went well. At 24 weeks I'm now 26cm so Dr. said he's probably going to be a big baby. Hopefully he'll slow down on the growing... I can't imagine having a big baby! Yikes! I'm waiting for the call to do the fetal echocardiogram any day now.

Ricky is leaving for Alabama tonight til Sunday. I'm sad I'll be without him for a week but he needs this trip to get away and have a great time with his best friend and tons of kids.

Trip is weighing over a pound a half now! Growing about 6oz a week. We decided to do a 3d/4d ultrasound probably closer to 30 weeks. I hear it's a great experience for first timers and I can't wait to see what he looks like!

                                                          25 weeks!

Me and Karalee. She's 24 weeks prego with twin boys!

23 Weeks...

Well today I had my 23 week check up. Since the 21 week appointment I've had to go weekly to see the Dr. At the ultrasound the tech noted that there was a possible arrhythmia. I'm going to see a specialist at the beginning of July just to be sure... but we listen to his heartbeat every week and haven't heard any irregularities yet. It could have been caused by the diet coke I drank the morning of my ultrasound...oops! So now I'm off all caffeine and chocolate.

Ricky is feeling him kick now! I get way more excited then he does... but he still is very excited about it. This morning when the Dr. was listening to the heartbeat with the doppler, he kicked the doppler a few times! It was so cute :) I love him!

Belly is getting bigger and bigger! I'm measuring 25cm now at 23 weeks which the dr. said was normal. I've been sick for a few days so I have to stay in bed til I feel better... dr's orders. I'm bored already!

Next month when we see the specialist we are going to have a fetal echocardiogram... which is basically an hour-hour and a half long ultrasound. I'm excited to see him for that long! I hope I get more pictures!

We're going to be getting the baby furniture any day now and I can't hardly wait! I've been trying to put it off but I think it's getting time. He'll be here in less than 4 months! (well...hopefully) Right now he's weighing over a pound and is around 9 inches long. Almost half the length he'll be when he's born.

Hope everyone has a great week!
